One CAN make a difference!

Back for its 14th year - it's Canstruction®!
We need your creativity and CAN-do attitude! Canstruction® Nova Scotia is a dynamic food and fundraising event in support of Feed Nova Scotia, where teams come together to build incredible structures entirely out of canned food.

Why should you get involved?
Because supporting a worthy cause feels great—and bragging rights are clearly at stake! Last year we had 8 amazingly impressive structures; this year we're hoping for even more teams to showcase their ingenious designs and clever execution. What are you waiting for, join us! You'll show off your skills, have fun teambuilding and do good for our community.
Registration is here!

The sculptures are judged by a team of community leaders and industry professionals in the following categories:
• Best Original Design
• Best Meal
• Best Use of Labels
• Structural Ingenuity
• Most Cans

There is aslo a People's Choice Award that will be awarded to the team that receives the most votes from the public visiting the event and voting online.
This year we are excited to announce we have partnered with Sunnyside Mall for our public exhibition. (Returning to Sunnyside will give the opportunity for lots of overhead viewing of the structures from the mezzanine area!)

Download the following form for further details on the building and judging process: Build Out Rules and Regulations
When the event is over, the cans are donated to Feed Nova Scotia to help stock the shelves of food banks and meal programs across the province.

Key dates:
January 26, 2018 - Registration deadline
March 7, 2018 - Build day
March 7-10, 2018 - Public exhibit at Sunnyside Mall
Awards ceremony TBD (by invitation only)

Competitive fun!
