Are you struggling to find work? Do certain obstacles get in your way when looking for a job? Does a career in the restaurant and hospitality business sound interesting?
The Learning Kitchen might be right for you. It’s a 17-week training program that prepares students with all the skills needed for a job in the food service industry. Three times a year, the program accepts 10 students referred through employment support programs.
You’ll learn cooking methods from a professional chef, as well as basic meal preparation, food safety and sanitation and nutrition. You’ll also learn important life skills to help you succeed.
