Make a Financial Donation

Many Nova Scotians don’t know where their next meal will come from. Your donation to FEED NOVA SCOTIA can change that. Financial donations are used to support our work in terms of both meeting our immediate goal to feed hungry people and our long-term goal to alleviate chronic hunger and poverty.

How your gift helps

Each year we sort and distribute almost two million kilograms of food that makes it way to the tables of Nova Scotians experiencing food insecurity. Your gift helps offset costs associated with collecting, warehousing and distributing food. The efficiencies of being a provincial association mean we can distribute $14 worth of food for every $1 you donate.

Consider the impact your gift can have:

Helping us meet our long-term goal

Your gift also helps create and deliver client support programs, all with the focus to provide someone a chance for a new start. Raising awareness of hunger and poverty and supporting those who turn to us for help is an important part of our work.
