Halifax International Wine Fest

The newly created Halifax International Wine Fest (HIWF) is set to become Atlantic Canada’s largest consumer wine festival. A partnership between Bruce Mansour (Make It Happen, Seaport Beer Festival) and Mark DeWolf (Association de la Sommellerie Internationale, Saltwire, CAPS, DeWolf Food & Wine Experiences) this event fills the void of a fall wine festival in Halifax. The event itself will consist of 2 gala tastings featuring more than 150 wine wines from around the world, including a selection of premium non-alcoholic wines and a natural wine section.  In addition to the Tasting Sessions, a number of secondary events will be held in November including educational seminars and dining events.
