Planned giving

Planned giving is a simple way to leave a lasting impact and create a hunger-free province for future generations. Read more about bequests, gifts of RRSPs, RRIFs and securities, life insurance, and Charitable Remainder Trusts.

United Way payroll deductions

Making a gift through your employer's payroll deduction plan is a simple way to give. If your workplace supports the United Way, please consider making a contribution to Feed Nova Scotia through the Donor Choice program.

Many employers foster a spirit of charitable giving in the work place by matching the contributions of their employees who donate funds or volunteer hours to a charity. Check to see if this option is available at your organization.

Charity Car

Donate your old car through the Charity Car program and help support those in need while being environmentally friendly. Your vehicle will be dismantled using environmentally sound practices, and any value from the scrap is donated to Feed Nova Scotia. You will also receive a tax receipt.
